Living By Dying

This evening we will be preaching through Genesis 49:28-33. The final verses of Genesis 49 give us the account of Jacob’s death. Several prominent deaths have been highlighted through Genesis (Abraham, Isaac, Rachel). In Jacob’s death we have a beautiful and concise picture of what it looks like to die well. The thought of death is something that many of us struggle with. Thoughts of death can bring fear, anxiety and paralysis. How can we learn from Jacob a healthy understanding of death? How can understand and implement the Biblical call to not fear death? Join us as we look at this important passage and see how it challenges our lives right now.
