Revealed

Tonight we will be studying Genesis 41:41-57. In these verses that close out chapter 41 we find Joseph being formally raised to a place of prominence in Egypt. God has sovereignly positioned Joseph to save His people. In this new role we see, quite clearly, how God uses His people to reveal Jesus Christ. God is using Joseph as redeemer to be a foreshadowing of the ultimate Redeemer. In fact, much of the trajectory of Joseph’s life along with His character is being used to point to Jesus. It is strikingly similar today. God continues to use His people to reveal the person and work of Jesus Christ. Join us as we look at this passage and see how God did use Joseph in this way and how it encourages and challenges us to see this as still true today.
