Stairway To Heaven

This week we are studying Genesis 28:10-22. This story finds Jacob, who has just left home due to the friction with his brother Esau, in the midst of his journey to his relatives land some 500 miles away. Around two days into his journey he stops for the night in Bethel. While sleeping Jacob has a dream from the Lord. In his dream he sees a ladder connecting Heaven and earth and heavenly beings ascending and descending on the ladder. God also speaks to Jacob in the midst of this dream. What does all of this mean? Why does it happen now? What are we to learn from this story? Join us as we walk through this text.
