Blessed Of The Lord

Tonight we are studying Genesis 26:1-35. In tonight’s passage we find the classic picture of “like father, like son.” Isaac makes the same mistake, born out of fear, that his father, Abraham, made years before. Yet, in tonight’s account we find that Isaac is declared to be blessed by God. This blessing was significant for Isaac and it reminds us that, we too have are the blessed of the Lord. In Christ Jesus we have been placed in the favor of the Almighty God. Join us as we walk through this story and seek to remind ourselves through God’s Holy Word of what it means to be blessed of the Lord.
