Known By God

This week we begin Chapter 8 and with it comes a new issue that Paul is addressing.  In Chapter 8 Paul is addressing the issue of food sacrificed to idols.  While this is no longer an issue that we wrestle with today Paul digs deeper than the issue to reveal matters of the heart that need to be addressed in the Corinthian believers.  In his opening remarks Paul wastes no time in going right to the heart of the Corinthians.  In these verses Paul contrasts a supposed knowledge that some of the Corinthians believe they possess with the love that is supposed to mark the Christian.  Join us as we look at this contrast and see how these verses challenge us today to live out love amidst Christian community.
