God's Eternal Zeal For His Own Glory

As we conclude Chapter 12 of Acts we come to story of Herod's death.  In this short account that wraps up the second section of Luke's history of the early church we find one of the foundational truths of all of Scripture - that God is jealous for the glory of His own name.  From the beginning of Scripture to the end this resounding theme is found.  God always acts for the sake of His own name.  From His creation of man to His forming of the Israelite people to His sending of His Son to the cross to the forgiveness of sin that He grants to His people God is always acting in order that His name be most glorified.  Join us as we discuss this important truth and discover how if effects our entire Christian walk.
