Fatal Flux

As we head toward the finish line in our series through Genesis we will be preaching through Genesis 50:15-21 this evening. In this penultimate passage we find Joseph’s brothers reacting to the death of their father. Their reaction shows us a deep angst and fear that has lived within them for years. Their reaction reveals hearts that lacked assurance in the heart of their brother Joseph. Joseph’s heart breaks as he sees the fear and doubt within them and he is pushed to respond. Join us as we look at this story and the powerful example of how an unsettled heart produces such sorrow.
