A Living Testimony

We look at Genesis 48:1-11 this evening. As Israel’s life nears its end, we come upon this touching scene between Israel & Joseph. In this short conversations we find Israel sharing key moments of his life with Joseph, leaving Joseph with a living testimony of God’s working in his life. We see that Israel’s perspective of his life has practical consequences for both how he has lived and how he is ending his life. These insights leave Jospeh and his sons with a beautiful living testimony of who God is and how faithful men, who fear God, are to live out their faith until the end.
