True Affection

The love of another can have a powerful impact on us. We can experience great comfort, deepening peace, growing confidence and significant transformation through the love we experience. It should come as know surprise, then, that God often works to bring about great transformation and true faith through His love for His people. As we look at Genesis 43:15-34 this evening we see how true affection continues the work of melting the hearts of stone that Joseph’s brothers have constructed. Through their story we are challenged to see God’s own love for us poured out through our ordinary lives and in incredibly special ways in order that we might be drawn deeper and deeper into His lovingkindness.
