Work

Genesis 30:25-43 is our sermon text for this evening. In these verses Jacob is pursuing his freedom from Laban and puts in another six years of work in order to secure his ability to return home. This account, though strange at points, gives us incredible principles for how we are to view our work and vocation. Too often we keep our work separate from our faith, yet all throughout Scripture we see that our faith is meant to inform our work. Join us as we walk through these verses and seek to understand our work more fully through a Biblical lens.
