An Encounter With God

Tonight we’ll be preaching through Genesis 32:22-32. Here we find Jacob wrestling with God, one of the more well-known stories in the book of Genesis. While this is a story that many know, as we come to this point in Jacob’s life we are meant to the great significance of this encounter. This encounter transforms Jacob and teaches him even more of who God is. This is undoubtedly the most defining moment in Jacob’s life. What does Jacob learn in this encounter and how does it change him? How are we to have an encounter like Jacob’s. Join us as we preach through these verses tonight.
