Near Sodom

Tonight we are studying Genesis 13:1-13. In these verses we find Abram & Lot leaving Egypt and coming to the land of Bethel. Once in Bethel, Lot is given the decision of choosing the land where he will dwell. We read that Lot chooses to pitch his tent “near Sodom.” Why does Lot choose this? What are the implications of this decision? How does this decision parallel decisions we have today? Join us as we study these important verses and seek to hear from the Lord how we can be more faithful followers of Jesus.
