No King!

This morning we look at John 19:12-16. In our passage this morning we find Pilate, once again, attempting to release Jesus, yet the Jewish crowds reacting with vitriol and hatred. The Jewish crowds declare that, not only is Jesus not their king, but that they have no king but Caesar! The weight of this statement should be seen in their rejection of not only Jesus, but God Himself. Why is it that we so often don’t want what we truly need?
