A Sovereign Display

This week we complete our time in the sixth chapter of John’s Gospel. As the Chapter closes, we find the completion of Jesus’ conversation with the crowd of “disciples” that have pursued him for some time. In our verses today, we find that many of the “disciples” are offended by Jesus’ words, so much so that they no longer have any interest in Him. In contrast to their response, the chosen 12 choose to stay with their Savior, giving us a clear picture of how the sovereignty of God that Jesus has spoken of works to put the identity of Jesus on display so that sinners may be saved. We pray that you are encouraged as you listen.
