The Bread of Life

Today we come to the crescendo of John 6 and Jesus’ statement that He is the Bread of Life. This is the first of seven “I am” statements that Jesus makes regarding His identity, and each statement reveals deep and abiding truths of the person and work of Jesus Christ. As we study the first of these statements we will seek to understand fully what Jesus means by this statement and what it teaches us about His person and work.
