The Call of God

1 Corinthians 7:17-24 is our passage this week and in tonight's text Paul gets to the heart of the matter.  Paul now leaves behind specific instructions concerning marriage, singleness and divorce and speaks to the primary issue of the Gospel and who the Corinthians have now become since God has called them to Himself.  This effectual call of God is so significant to Paul that it frames everything of who the Corinthians have now been transformed to be.  It is primarily because they have forgotten their new identity in Christ that they are struggling with these issues of earthly identity.  Join us as we look at Paul's understanding of God's call and how the Gospel truly transforms our understanding of who we are.
