Haste or Hesitate?

Tonight we will be studying all of Genesis 24, the longest chapter in the book of Genesis. In this account we find Abraham sending out his most trusted servant to secure a bride for his son Isaac. There are several items of note in this chapter, but there is one theme that Moses seems to carry through the entire narrative. In each movement of this story we are shown that those involved are responding quickly to God’s call on their lives. How much do we delay in our own obedience toward God and His commands? How many excuses can we find? Join us as we study tonight’s passage and we’re encouraged to respond with haste to God and His Word.
