Ordo Salutis

Tonight we look at Genesis 3:16-21. In these verses we find the beginning of God’s redemptive work. In Romans 8:28-30 we find Paul’s “ordo salutis” (“order of salvation”). The Reformers reaffirmed an eight-step Biblical order of salvation. In our verses in Genesis tonight we see the framework for the beginning of this ordo salutis. Join us as we see very clearly that the beautiful doctrine of justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone was always God’s plan to save His people.
