The Nature of Temptation & Sin

This week we are studying Genesis 3:1-6. In the interaction between the serpent (Satan) & Eve we see the first temptation of humankind. In their conversation we receive an amazing picture of the nature of temptation and the subsequent entrance of sin into God’s creation. If we are to battle against sin & temptation the way that Scripture calls us to we would do well to understand more clearly how temptations works and what the extent of sin is.
