Visible Blindness

This morning we continue the story of the healing of the blind beggar by looking at John 9:8-23. After the beggar’s healing we find him having conversations with neighbors and Pharisees. In both of these conversations and the following conversation between the Pharisees and the beggar’s parents we find an interesting picture of people who can see but are still blind. What is spiritual blindness? How does it manifest itself in this story and today? What does it mean to truly see and how does it transform our lives?
