A Particular View

This morning we leave behind the John’s prologue and begin to work through the narrative section of his gospel. Today we look at John 1:19-29 and the person of John the Baptist. John the Baptist was a powerful witness to the person and work of Jesus Christ. Why were so many drawn to him? What allowed John to have such a powerful witness? When we examine these verses we find that John has a particular view of himself and a particular view of Jesus Christ that allowed him to freely and boldly live as a faithful witness to Jesus’' life and work. Join us as we explore these truths and seek to learn how we, as the Church today, can have a similar freedom and boldness to witness faithfully to Jesus Christ.
