Light

Today John introduces another major theme of his Gospel narrative in John 1:4-5. John tells us that Jesus is the light, a theme he will build upon throughout his account. Jesus himself, in John 8, declares that He is the “light of the world.” What is John wanting us to understand as he tells us this in his prologue? Join us as we explore what it means that Jesus came as the light and how we are to continue to understand these implications today.
