Sweeter Than Honey

Ezra 7:1-28 introduces us to Ezra, the scribe and priest. In this introduction we find that Ezra is being sent back to Judah to bring the Law of God to the people. We see, very clearly, that Ezra is a man committed to the Word of God. This becomes the distinguishing mark of Ezra in chapter 7 and the mark that God uses to reestablish a commitment to and love for His Law amongst His people. Similarly, in order for us to be established as the people of God we must be a people who are committed to and love the Word of God. Join us as we preach through Ezra 7.
