Comfortably Dying

Tonight we will be looking at Ezra 5:1-17. In chapter 5 we see prophetic voices entering into the narrative of the returned exiles. Both Haggai & Zechariah speak into the situation that the Jews find themselves in and, in so doing, move the Jews out of their comfort and apathy and into continuing the work on the temple rebuild. How important were these prophetic voices? How important are they still today? Much like the Jews, we still must regularly be roused out of our comfort and apathy by the Word of God and into the call He has placed on our lives. Join us as we look at Ezra 5.
