Here are the Scripture passages that I referenced in the sermon this past Sunday.  I hope they are helpful:

HIS RESURRECTION = OUR RESURRECTION

Romans 6:1-11

GLORIFICATION

1 Corinthians 1:30 - order of salvation

Matthew 13:43 - righteous shine like the sun

Romans 5:1-2 - rejoice in the hope of the glory of God

Romans 8:17 - we suffer with Him and we will be glorified with Him

Romans 8:28-30 - foreknew, predestined, called, justified, glorified

GLORIFICATION IS CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK…ASSURANCE THAT GOD IS THE ONE WHO SAVES AND WILL PRESERVE US UNTIL COMPLETION!

Philippians 1:6 - He who began a good work

GLORIFICATION MAKES US HOLY

2 Corinthians 3:18 - one degree of glory

Ephesians 5:27 - Christ presenting us without blemish

Colossians 1:28 - present you perfect/mature

1 Thessalonians 5:23 - blameless

Jude 1:24 - the one who is able to keep you from falling and to present you as blameless

GLORIFICATION GIVES US NEW BODIES

Romans 8:10-11 - raise your bodies 

Romans 8:23 - eagerly await redemption of our bodies

1 Corinthians 15:35-58 - perishable to the imperishable

Philippians 3:20-21 - transform our lowly body to be like His glorious body

1 John 3:1-3 - when He appears we shall be like Him

GLORIFICATION BRINGS US TO GOD

1 Corinthians 13:12 - see through a glass darkly, one day we will know Him

John 17:3 - that we would know God

Colossians 3:1-4 - appear with Christ in glory!

Ephesians 2:6 - raised up with him and seated with him

Ephesians 1:13-14 - our inheritance

Romans 8:16-17 - heirs with Christ

2 Timothy 2:10-12 - we will reign with Him

1 Peter 1:3-8 - born again to a living hope

Matthew 5:8 - blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God
