Hope

Tonight we begin our Advent series. Advent is a time where we can focus in on the incarnation of Jesus Christ, seeking to understand more fully the impact of God taking on flesh and dwelling amongst us. Why did God the Son take on flesh? What did Jesus come to bring to God’s elect? This is what we’ll explore of the next four weeks.

Tonight we study the idea of hope, seeing that Jesus came to make hope a central characteristic of the Christ-follower. What is Biblical hope? How does Jesus’ coming grant us this kind of hope? Join us as we study and learn about Biblical hope by looking primarily at Luke 8:40-56.
